I now know, I was on a voyage of great significance, and they were watching the tests, that I was about to be challenged with.
But first, lets go back to what was happening in between the lightning at the lake, on July l8, l997 and North Bay July 22, l997.
I was receiving many messages and feelings from GOD, and after church one day, I purchased a laminated picture of “JESUS” and I put this in the car. I went to a large musical production of many bands, on Parliament Hill, in Ottawa, and I could not see very well; and this boy came along and he could not see, so I lifted him to my shoulders, and he started to tell his mother all the beautiful details about the band, but when this music finished, I somehow knew I must TURN MY BACK to this, and so I turned my back.
I let my father- in- law drive, and I sat in the back seat, as we drove out of Ottawa towards a military musical show he wanted to see. We passed someone hitchhiking, with a big sign “North Bay”, and I noticed this. Then on our way back to Ottawa traffic was stopped, and we were in front of a business sign “North Star..” and I must have found myself looking at it as if it were significant, as I then asked my wife, where is the North Star? To reconfirm its location. I had no idea that this would be important in a few days.
I had lost a foot brace several months before, and everyone looked everywhere for it, and we had torn the house, the car and everywhere apart looking for it. Now like someone was leading or guiding me, I went straight to the basement, and in a back room I was marched right straight to it. I know all this was GOD building a relationship of trust, and love. Things were happening at such a pace that they cannot all be shown or told to you now, but time will permit in the future.
I started to pack camping gear, and food, and I had no idea where I was going, or for how long. I bought a pair of sandals much too large for myself, and I never wear such foot wear. It was on some list that I was feeling. This went on for two days, I only knew it was North, as the tape in my bedside radio, was “Northern Woods” the shirt I had put on was “Northern Spirit” etc. I then remembered North Bay, and I headed out late in the day. But I was receiving other messages, “It Must Come Off”, and I could not locate a location to help, so I started out to follow where I
...... was being GUIDED BY GOD.
I drove towards North Bay, and my front passenger chair was back with a large family bible on it. I drove!
It was dark and I passed someone with camping gear, hitchhiking, so I stopped and let him into the back seat. We talked and he stated a good place to go was, a park ten hours away, and he called this GOD’S country, so I listened. It so happens that you drive through North Bay and then through Moonbeam. I did not know!
He got out after awhile as he wanted a place for the night, and I still had several hours to drive before I got to North Bay.
This was day one of the trip.
